Today is March 5, 2019 and it is a rather blustery day. I suppose I am relating quite well to Eeyore. “Don’t blame me if it rains.”

Those of us afflicted with Fibromyalgia, are pretty good at predicting the weather. Probably better than most paid weather forecasters. I’m predicting rain. This painful flare that I am currently experiencing is my radar source for the barometric pressure change that is forthcoming. I realize many people can feel weather changes during bouts of S.A.D., rheumatoid arthritis, joint disorders, or other ailments. Darn for all of us:( I will, however, give my cell phone AccuWeather app some credit. It also is predicting a small amount of rain this afternoon. (I just read that a moment ago) I knew about the rain before I opened the app, though.
I am pretty much housebound right now due to a severe flare of this devastatingly painful condition. I finally accepted a diagnosis of it a couple years ago. The reality is that I’ve had it my ENTIRE life. It’s real and it’s not easy. My next article will delve into how so many lovely, well meaning people, friends and gurus have offered their suggestions and products to me on how to fix this condition. Stay tuned.
Right now, I just happened to walk through my house and realized how many signs are scattered about in an effort to incite happiness. I do feel that we are pretty happy in our sweet little house. Signs have always caught my attention. If they are bright, positive and cheerful, I enjoy reading them. If they have misspelled words or are politically charged, I tend to turn away, fast. I really like colorful graffiti on park benches. I always sit on them unless it’s raining. I’m weird like that.
“The nicest thing about the rain is that it always stops. Eventually.”
